If you are following a low salt diet, or more precisely,
a low sodium diet, then you will probably already know that it is quite
difficult to do this successfully if you rely solely on processed foods and
commercially prepared meals.
It is not just a matter of not adding salt to foods, there is sodium hidden in other products such as self-raising flour, raising agents such as sodium bicarbonate, and some highly salted common ingredients.
Hence the need for low sodium cookbooks. Here are three that we have recommended in our newsletter. All three are suitable for Australian users on low sodium diets.
